Jr. WordPress Developer

Job Brief:

A Jr. WordPress Developer is responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, a passion for clean, efficient code, and a collaborative spirit to work closely with designers and marketing teams to deliver seamless, functional, and visually appealing websites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development, customization, and maintenance of WordPress websites.
• Convert design prototypes (Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch) into responsive, interactive websites.
• Install and configure WordPress themes and plugins as required for various projects.
• Troubleshoot website issues and ensure optimal website performance.
• Update website content, layout, and functionality based on feedback and business requirements.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, content creators, and marketing teams to deliver engaging digital experiences.
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in WordPress development are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript is required.
• Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg is a plus.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• A portfolio or examples of personal or academic WordPress projects will be an advantage.
