Pauseitive Tech : Building a Digital Home for an EdTech and Custom Software Studio
Summary
Pauseitive Tech offers mobile apps, web apps, game development, blockchain, cloud applications and AI-driven solutions. Its mission is to innovate the digital landscape, make technology accessible to everyone and move the EdTech sector forward. The company needed a website that could explain a wide range of services, build trust with first-time visitors, tell a founder-led story and turn visitors into qualified leads. Markeltree designed and built it.

About Pauseitive Tech
Pauseitive Tech was founded by Kimberly A. Dalius, M.S.Ed., M.C.P.C., EdD Candidate at USC Rossier, an educator and professional coach. She saw how much startups and small businesses need mobile applications to grow.
Her education background shapes the brand, which centres on EdTech, accessibility and customer-focused delivery. Its stated values are innovation, excellence, accessibility, EdTech advancement and integrity. Markeltree delivered the corporate website, service portal and lead-generation platform.

The Challenges
Every project starts with real problems. Here are the core challenges we tackled for this engagement.
A Very Broad Service Range: Pauseitive Tech offers 14+ services: custom CRM/CMS, blockchain, AI, cloud apps, enterprise software, games, mobile, SaaS, PWAs, SPAs, web apps, UI/UX, website design and digital products. Visitors could easily be overwhelmed.
Trust for a Young Brand: The company competes with larger agencies, so the site had to show leadership, team, process, technology depth and social proof in one story.
Two Audiences: The site speaks to businesses seeking software and to education-minded visitors drawn to the founder's EdTech background.
Lead Capture: Quote form, waitlist, newsletter, cost calculator and clear calls to action all needed to work together.
Technical Range Without Jargon Overload: Mobile, front end, back end, databases, CMS and DevOps had to be clear to technical and non-technical readers.
A Product Ecosystem and AI Roadmap: The site had to connect to the Pauseitive app, to Markeltree's EMILA framework, and to future AI features.
Content Upkeep: The blog, events, press releases, manifesto, portfolio and case studies must be editable by non-developers.

How We Built Pauseitive Tech
Discovery
We held stakeholder sessions to clarify mission, vision and values, mapped audiences across startups, SMEs, education organisations and enterprise buyers, and reviewed services, competitors and existing assets. Qualified leads, quote requests and waitlist signups were set as the success measures.
Strategy & Information Architecture
We grouped the services into three families (software solutions, application development, design and UX), planned the homepage story arc from promise to contact, defined conversion paths for every intent (quote, waitlist, newsletter, phone, app) and designed a services mega-menu with a dedicated page for each service.
Design & Experience
We created a dark, modern theme that signals technology and focus, with a logo-led header, consistent service iconography, strong CTAs, mobile-first responsive layouts with custom breakpoints, and founder-led storytelling through a leadership section and video.
Development & Integration
We built the site on WordPress and Elementor so the client's team can edit independently, loaded locally served Google Fonts and external CSS for performance, integrated the quote, waitlist and newsletter forms, set up canonical URLs, Open Graph, Twitter Card metadata and robots directives, and linked the Pauseitive app and the EMILA page.
Testing & Launch
We carried out cross-browser and cross-device testing, checked form and lead routing, reviewed performance, accessibility and SEO, then launched with monitoring and a full handover.
